I think that’s a rabbit. Or half of one..
The car used looks an awful lot like a Yugo. If that’s the case, that would make this an upgrade! 1HP!
It’s the better half of a Polish Fiat 126p. Engine was in the back… so now it has at most 5bhp.
it’s probably quicker this way… certainly more spacious
(almost bought one of those nippy little rollerskates once before parents banned me from choosing my own first car… shame)
not polish, polski fiat 126
The ultimate in “Green Technology”
Headline: Horse Breaks Wind, 3 Passengers Hospitalized
Did the Amish do this??
Its the 126
http://en.wikivisual.com/index.php/Fiat_126
We had those in canada decaides ago and called them bennette buggies!!!
Wasn’t this in Borat?
yes, definitely a Fiat 126. If you take the crap, wee, and methane produced by the horse, and the feed and all its associated costs, the car was probably cleaner. I wonder if the horse feels humiliated?
Definitely not a Gremlin; will the ThereIFixedIt admin fix the headline? I’m tempted to stick a post-it with “Fiat 126″ over Gremlin on a screen and take a pic to send in to help you guys out.
You would think they might at least paint the horse to match!
Amos Hasenfus didn’t understand why other Amish farmers had turned their backs on him. But Burte, his beloved Clydesdale, continued to serve him through her own shame.
With the engine in the back, is that some sort of Horse Pusher ?
Ahhhh! I love to take a drive in the country! Smell that fresh air!
The Amish took a trip to the junk yard!
It is Polish MALUCH:) great small car ! (half car – exactly:)
It definitely isn’t a Gremlin. It looks more like a VW Rabbit!
It couldn’t possibly be a Gremlin. I’ve never seen one actually moving.
Almost certainly a Fiat 126 or derivative (Yugo, Lada, etc. — Fiat sold the tooling for the 126 all over the Eastern Bloc during Communist times). My guess: A Lada, in one of the various Trashcanistans that split off from the Soviet Union in the 90’s.
It’s not Yugo, not VW, not Lada, no Gremlin (WTF?!)
It’s Fiat 126

Still has that new car smell (horse fart)
Oh ouch, not only is the cart jury rigged…so is the harness! nothing is sitting on that poor saint of a horse the way it should. >.<
I beg to differ, it seems so irony
Yesss…. The 126p:
1 person
2 door
6 times overpaid
But still, it leaves no one unsypathetic. You either love it, or hate – I personally loved it, until it was scrapped. My mom, who drove the car earlier hated it. This car in Poland is practically a legend. It is said, that you could rebuild the engine with a wrench. And a hammer. On the side of the road. Busy road.
When life gives you lemons…
If the horse travels fast enough, you’ll keep the roads dung-free.
