The handcuffs are a keychain. Hanging off of one of the handles probably made for a better picture than with the key inserted in the ignition. Or there was no way to keep the key partially in the ignition while attached to the handcuffs and there’s an annoying beeping with the door open and/or seatbelt undone.
I also cast my vote for rum instead of vodka.
