reminds me of when my brother and i were kids. we would make slip and slides using hefty bags, double-sided tape and tent stakes to hold it down. just put the garden hose to it and voila…hours of fun…at least until dad came out and hogged it for himself. i don’t know who had more fun, my brother and me or our dad. good times!!!

This reminds me of the rubber balloons which attach to a garden hose and are used for blasting blockages out of sewer pipes.

I did a similar hack some time ago. Just that it wasn’t a bottle, but an old garden hose punctured at strategic places with the end closed.
I recycle my sprite bottles almost in the same way.
1) fill half of a sprite bottle with water.
If you do it near your bushes you can also water the plant and entertain the kids.
2) use a champagne or wine cork and pass a foot air pump chord through it
3) Stick cork in bottle
4) turn bottle upside down and have it hold like that using some kind of hand made ramp.
5) Pump a lot until the bottle blows high above the trees

Man! I’ve probably blown half a grand on sprinklers that don’t do the job. If it’s this easy & cheap I’m gonna invest in Coke products – after a good self dope-slap…duh, why didn’t I think of this?
