At FIRST I thought the “fix” related to the elastic strap at the rear… the doorknob is just great though. I love the crud dripping from it.
Needs a knocker or at least a doorbell. Hilarious stuff. I wonder how functional it is.
Wonder how many times he has tried to get in the house using his ‘car’ key now.
Better yet, I bet there is now a car handle on his front door.
so does it work?
I would definitely lay down a welcome mat wherever I parked.
@dono1
LOL. Maybe even a potted plant.
Well, they say if you open one door it leads to oppourtunity.
This one got stuck.
needs a door bell.
he must have read that other post about deadbolt preventing break ins.
Now he just needs a “No Solicitors” sign.
Now the same key opens the front door to the house and the car door.
I wonder if the knob was installed on the inside.
After looking at this five or six times today, I finally saw the door knob.
My eyes were always drawn to the bungee cord holding the bumper on.
I wonder if Jehovah’s Witnesses approach him in parking lots.
All he needs is a screen door and deck on the passenger’s side with a little pool out back.
@Anna Rexia
Not if he has this bumper sticker:

What? No “Do not disturb” sign?
Sheeh! What a doorknob!
Nice, car key and house key all in one, less mess on the key chain!
Thats what she said
Knock-Knock…Who’s there?
The Btrm is down the hall and to the left?
Apparently this guy couldn’t HANDAL not having a door nob..
This is the Kludge of the year by far!
does ti even work?
How hard must it have been to pull this off in comparison to just getting the right part? I guess a truly epic kludge is one that was Rube Goldberged so as to be far more involved to do, than to fix.
Where is the “Beware of Dork” sign?
Just had a extra door handle or was it a doorknob
At least this way if he’s pulled over, the police will have to knock first and ticket later.
The packaging did say Door Knob. It didn’t necessarily say for which door.
Gives that car you sleep in a more “homey” feel.
Apparently LOWES was open and AUTOZONE was closed.
“Good day sir, we would like to talk to you about Our Lord and…”
“FLOOR IT!”

Bought four knob sets all keyed alike and did my other three cars too.
