You’re right since sodium street light are 110W like this one! No real saving however…
Look at the brighter side of it, it’s probably cheaper than the real thing!

Just when you go towards the light, dont get shocked. Even if it’s poorly maintained.
It takes a pretty dim bulb to fix-er like that.

The real problem is someone needs to pull the string to turn it on every night.
Which is brighter, the installer or the bulb? My money is on the bulb.

Can’t tell, but I was wondering it the fixture is one of those inexpensive sensor types. So it might go on and off when it should. Until a 15 m.p.h. gust brings it down. Based on appearance this is one of my favorite submissions. Nice find, Mike.

ever since i lowered the light the grass seems to grow at night, too.
While they didn’t recycle a Pepsi bottle, they should have least been “green” and used a CFL.

I like this chandelier idea way better.
If only I had gone back at night to see it in action. hey, I might do this year. but againg I have to point out that as you can see in the pic, only 1 wire is connected to the bulb!

this lamppost is one of the older types with no sensor on. I checked while I was there.
