That’ll Never Get To 88 Before It Hits The Wire

They have reinvented the Edsel
even mini vans dress up for Halloween
“By scotts! The flux capacitor overshot us into some sort of badly drawn 2D dimension!”
This is heavy!
De-lorean? More like “de-lusional”!
WIN!!!
extreme makeover..
pimp my ride, ghetto edition?
Well, it is in Cleveland. Not surprising.
It gets .21 jigawatts to the gallon. Flux capacitor optional.
Back to the Future? More like Back to the Drawing Board.
“Marty… I think we’re in the wrong car.”
“No, Doc, it’s cool, see? The future us will just have to take our car when they leave, while we take their improved version of it.”
I would have never noticed that it’s made out of cardboard if they would have drawn a door handle on that otherwise vividly realistic conversion kit.
Awesome. I once dressed up my 81 Plymouth Horizon like a Radio Flyer wagon. It was already red, so I painted the steel rims white with a red center cap & welded a wagon handle to the front bumper. Than me & my friends launched down a hill!
Is that a Libyan in the foreground?
That was 1985, not ‘88. Date fail?
88 MPH = speed needed for the jump
88mph was the speed required to activate the flux capacitor, not the date…
lol @ leila, correction fail? maybe rewatch the movie?
It is actually better than some body kits I have seen from the F&F crowd.
The vehicle is obviously not a piece of crap… at least not until they taped cardboard to it. Even the trailer has the proper safety chains. NOT a kludge! ps… I wonder what’s on the trailer :>0
People on that trailer, most likely. Looks like it was for a Homecoming Parade a few weekends ago.
Yup, it was homecoming. The theme was something like CWRU Spartans through the Decades. This is what happens when you convince a bunch of nerdy frat boys to make a float.
What were they thinking? Why do people do things like this? Why am I asking these questions?
Don’t ask questions around here stranger. You don’t want to know how we get rid of bodies in these parts.
“Don’t be dissin’ my Delorian” said an angry Ronald McDonald as he spun the chain tightly gripped in his fist. “You gonna see a big Mac Attack with my special sauce!”
Definitly
Delorean wallabes. Possibly the safest vehicle on the road today. It will only follow the white lines.
This is what happens to your DeLorean when you take their plutonium and, in return, give them a shoddy bomb casing filled with used pinball machine parts.
On the plus side, I could probably afford it.
The new delorean: now includes tow cable
It’s pretty obvious that this will work since there’s duct tape involved
You cant tow with a Delorean
I wonder if they hadn’t written DeLorean in large caps, would anyone have guessed what it was??lol
Max: Actually, you can tow with a DeLorean – At least 1,500#, perhaps more… If you can get a safe custom hitch designed and installed, you can tow with almost any car – just have to watch the gross weight and tongue weight limits.
(Oh, and the installer has to know how to spread the load out onto a Unibody properly, or we’ll be continuing this discussion over in FAIL Blog.)
I’ve seen people tow with Corvettes, Lamborghinis, VW Beetles, Morris Mini’s…
That’s a TransSport or Lumina minivan in the photo above, and Dad has a hitch on his.
My ‘61 Corvair has had a hitch since new and I’ve taken 1000# utility trailers all over the place with it. Just make sure you tap the pedal to keep the drum brakes dry when towing in the rain – and BOY there’s a story behind that comment…
1.21 Giga-what’s?
Crappy costume pulling who-knows-what for a parade float?
—–
“Aw dude! I totally forgot that the parade was today. Whaddar we gonna do for a float, man?”
“Uh, uh… Quick get me that cardboard, duct tape and a sharpie…”
At this point it should just say “Time Machine”.
When this baby reaches 88 mph, you’re gonna see some parts fall off!
win!
I’ll bet this was what John Delorean used to spirit all his nose candy around
That cardboard makes a perfect gull-wing door.
…Crazy Hessler Street people. I live a few blocks from there and this doesn’t surprise me one bit.
i hope they overhauled the fusebox, 1.21 Gigawatts is a whole lotta power
….This just in.After a complete buy out from the US Government Chrysler released the 2011 line of there latest mini-van.
Pelosi responded “This design is reported to be very green for we used 100% recycled cardboard with low impact inking. This design alone will cure the fever of the planet and solve the Globel Warming li…ur..problem.”
This looks like a prop for a “sweded” version of Back to The Future.
Oh my god! It’s a-. Wait, thats just a carboard cutout of a delorean on a van.
