At Least It Isn’t Propping Open Windows

I’ve heard about the new Istop… the USB cable is too short
Well, it is only too short if you don’t have a USB port nearby. Why Apple seems to be the only one to put them on the keyboard is a mystery to me.
Dells and tons of USB keyboards in stores have them built in. It is far from being an Apple thing.
what you don’t see is that the LAPTOP is propping open the window.
Introducing the iDoorStop!
Finally, a use for those damn one button mice.
only thing a mac is good for is doorstop
im afraid to ask what a pc is good for them
intelligent thought?
Umm… working?
My personal computer sees use working with spreadsheets, gaming, 3D modeling and rendering, audio and video editing, CD/DVD/Blueray burning, internet browsing, long distance calling, recording TV, and even as an alarm clock. Built it myself for a fraction of what it would cost from any manufacturer and better quality construction as I have direct control over the quality of the parts. Win/win.
so sick of the better than you attitude from Mac users.
good lord..
…anyone else wanna try shutting the door just to hear the satisfying crunch?
The sound crunch.mp3 could not be found.
try crunch.ogg or.wav or simply crunch.*
They are recording it.
This Apple ain’t keepin’ the doctor away…
You could use the cord to trip people, just because!
Play off on the title: At least, if it did prop open Windows, it would work better than Windows its self.
Oh good an Apple mouse that’s good for something
Well, they don’t call it the MightyMouse for nothing, apparently.
This is mouse’s punishment for only having one button
The shell on the Apple mouse is strong enough, that it will probably work just fine after it is done with the door. Thus the pawnshop pays $2 for a used Apple mouse, vs. $1 for most other USB optical mice.
I don’t know which is more disturbing – the fact that someone would actually pawn a computer mouse, or the fact that a pawn shop would pay for such a thing.
Or the fact that they know its pawn value.
Pawnshops pay for them, because pawn shops can resell them.
Oh, and pawnshops hire trolls.
What a waste of time–if they Ctrl-click, they could “Save door as…,” name it “Open.jpg” and be done with it.
perfect
A mouse? And here I thought it was the hinge that was squeaking.
that’s pretty much the only thing that apple is good for anymore. . . .
then im afraid to ask what crappy pcs are good for
Doing every useful task in the world.
A mac is a pc smart one.
Introducing Mighty Mouse V2!
Somewhere, an Apple fanboy is shooting a REAL mouse
(By real, I mean Microsoft et al, not a living mouse. So no abuse please PETA) Keep up the good adverts though
why would PETA abuse u i mean really PETA(People Eating Tasty Animals…)
Unless they like a little salsa.. then you’re dealing with People for the Ethnic Treatment of Animals.
I love saying that to vegetarians/vegans!
Careful: Another commenter, “idiotsrule” might get upset.
Looks like someone got a new Apple Magic Mouse.
Touche.
Maybe the click sound informs the people in that room that someone has entered.
The mouse is actually there as an elephant repellant. Until it was posted there as a sentry, unauthorized elephants were a constant attractive nuisance.
A true testament to the ease of use and superior flexibility of Mac. There is nothing that can effectively prop open windows!!
Brilliant!
It still won’t stop Windows from crashing.
just recently read it somewhere:
“Apple keeps you the doors open, while e.g. Microsoft stable server is used as a step to reach high objects.”
Seemingly one needs both for a successful career…
Damn it, this place is just infested with mice!
Microsoft mouse trap. Only works about 30% of the time. You should probably update the operating system for a smoother and more frustrating performance.
A clear demonstration of the superiority of Apple products.
That’s an optical mouse. So you can see the door is open.
And if it were connected to www, you cuold see open door, even using windows.

Windows: Full of ‘FAIL’
Not to mention what it does for your peripheral vision.
There’s an App for that!
The best use I’ve seen so far for those damned Apple 1-button mice.
THE ONLY THING THAT PIECE OF CRAP IS GOOD FOR! HAAAAHAHAHA!
Here’s the new Apple iProp Nano powered by OSX Snow Leopard!
Anyone else seeing this commercial run through there head?
Mac guy: Hi I’m a door stop
PC guy: and I’m a PC
I see what you did thar!
That has got to be the most EXPENSIVE doorstop I’ve ever seen.
Ah, but it integrates with the hardware much better, and thus maximizes performance over a lower priced model.
Proper use for apple hardware.
Since it is holding the window open, could it not be considered an “Open Source” mouse? Linux FTW!
That’s what you get for not having a scroll btn!
You need a Mac to prevent a window from closing
I love Macs (I have two Macs and only 1 Windoze PC) … but, seriously; this is the BEST use for one of their mice.
I use proper, two button mice with Macs; no problem – and better ergonomics!

I’m surprised this isn’t actually a Windows mouse, that’s usually the one holding the door open for the viruses.
All the windows mice are busy right-clicking.
The funny thing is, I’m using an iMac that happens to be 7 years old (when I have money to upgrade, I will, trust me). My 3rd party multi-button mouse died. So guess what I’m back to using? You’ve got it! The one-button mouse, aka the same one shown propping the door open in the picture. Laugh, and laugh hard. I use ctrl for right-click and page up/down for scrolling. I swear this thing’ll go obsolete before it dies anyway. That’s how it’s been with most of our macs that we’ve had.
My only real problem with this model mouse is the curved lip along the bottom edge of the upper shell. How often have you unknowingly moused up to your mouse cable and found you couldn’t click? If you use this mouse, you know what I mean.
MOST of your macs? And you will be upgrading to a Mac again? Am I the only one who finds this a bit ..what’s the word.. umm… stupi.. err.. counter-inituitive? ;D
So there is a use for that damn thing. Everything I know is wrong.
Ok, Apple is amazing. I have an amazing Macbook. The Mice are great and all of you “PC’s” Don’t know crap.
-Say NO to Microsoft.
My sturdy Toshiba Lappy cost me $600 bucks & does what I ask of it. The lil bastard can run Left4Dead2 just fine. Your MacBook cost how much? You bought a name, remember that.
There is a new model available, the magic mouse. Touch to open door. a maximum of five tries required.
good to see people can take a joke!
