Fixer Bridge says, “We don’t have a seven solid ball. But it’s okay! We’ll mark out the ten striped and call it seven solid. But then we won’t have a ten striped… we’ll just use the five solid. But what about the five solid? We’ll use the eight ball…. dear God, when does the madness end?!”

I wonder how many bar room brawls this has caused?

  2. canoehead says:

If they only had a blue Sharpie to color with, this would be slamming.

  3. William says:

This means that there’s probably another cue ball out there somewhere with 10 Striped written on it

  4. Jompe71 says:

I’m almost surprised that the “0″ isn’t duct over.

  5. erkkilaron says:

Now that is wantn to play pool bad.

  6. K says:

I’m wondering how they had an extra 10…or I guess they’re playing 8-Ball.

  7. Evan says:

At least they could have used a 15-ball so it would be the same color as the 7.

  8. JMAN says:

erkkilaron – I have no clue what you are trying to say here. wow

  9. Blackmoore says:

At least it isn’t a bowling ball.

  10. Shadow Law says:

    Talk about a Bi-pool-er sport.

  11. JB says:

Depending on the type of pool/billiard, the cue ball has different size. Would that make the 10 off-size vs. the other balls?

  12. Mike Oxlong says:

Seriously, a maroon sharpie would have made a better fix. They could have even done a 7 in black sharpie on the white part with a circle around it. As for extra balls, I happen to have a 2 ball I found on the side of the road and an eight ball I, uh, mistakenly took home from a club ;)

no duct tape, but still a decent kludge.

  18. stumptoe says:

They are prolly playing 9 Ball. No need for the ten, but you GOTTA have a 7.

  19. Paddy says:

    Talk about pooling your resources…

  20. Jetta Flame says:

so i take it these guys play a lot of nine ball?

that would make the ten ball unnecessary…

  21. nativefloridian says:

Used to do this with cards all the time. Good use of 3rd and 4th joker.

  22. Annalyn says:

Well, I’m glad they thought to clarify that this is different from the 7 striped ball. The players would be confused then…

  23. Carole says:

My family does this with playing cards all the time, like turning the Joker into an Ace of Spades …
