Now a busted leg is no excuse to get out of doing yardwork.

  5. fermion72 says:

The worst part about this kludge is that it would actually be terrible for shoveling. There’s no way you could balance the load correctly on the end, and you’d keep dumping it left or right after you tried picking it up.

  6. Sticky says:

That’s the last time Tiny Tim will complain about equal rights.

  7. Joshua says:

Thats right Crachet, now that hobbling kid of yours can get some work done!

  8. Paddy says:

Don’t show that thing to highway administration workers…we don’t want to make it any easier for them to lean on their shovels.

  9. waldo says:

A two handed shovel that neatly fits the waist for pushing off the snow so the shuffle board surface is clean enough to play on. Reverse the implement and let the games begin.

  10. Xero says:

Wait until you see the 2nd crutch, it has a fork attachment. Taking Dinner to the next EXTREMEty.

I have a friend that is an amputee. She loves to garden. She would go ga-ga over this!

  17. jasperash says:

I AM ESSENTIAL TO THE WAR EFFORT!!

  18. Les says:

This looks like a good idea to me especially when I would need to to push the shovel along the ground to scoop something up. The curved handle would be much easier on the hand than the end of the usual handle.

  19. nasty_mist says:

Leg amputee ain’t shit. Now start digging.

  20. dono1 says:

    That’s a lame excuse for a shovel.

It’s 90 degrees out. Think about it, I can’t be the only person who’s ever used a crutch.
    Definite Kludge!

  29. Smitty says:

Looks like a DIY ice shovel, or a sodding shovel. The wide, padded end would make forcing the blade horizontally under the sod (or ice) easier. You could really put your hip into it! I’d use it for moving patches of lawn.
