I love this, because it’s Patently Unsafe – the wall and roof structure of the motorhome body was helping to hold up the front bunk, and now it’s all gone. All the weight is now on the windshield header and A Pillars alone.
Now our interpid gardener is going to load his three assistants up there, and hit a big bump, and watch the whole thing collapse on the hood at freeway speeds…

As you pointed out, Bruce, it’s structurally unsafe. Not only that–the weight distribution is horrible. You may have observed that the big cab overhang is always present when the camper itself is large and has a lot of rear overhang. In this case, the rear is very light, and the front end is heavily weighted. I would hate to see that thing trying to go down a steep hill.
I’ll admit it’s cruel, but I’m sort of from the George Lopez school of thought, and I would LOVE to see that thing trying to go down a steep hill!

As far as cab-over-campers go, if I had to choose a cab-over-camper and this cab-over-camper was the only cab-over-camper I had to choose from, I’m pretty sure I would choose a cab over this camper.
